1. Make your own decisions
You will receive advice from parents and teachers; however you should go for subjects you want to study and not just the subjects that your friends are choosing
2. Compulsory subjects
You will have to do English and Maths but check which other subjects are compulsory.
3. Plan your subjects
The subjects you choose at A Level may require you to have taken specific subjects at GCSE.
4. Have a balance
Choosing a variety of subjects keeps your options open for later if you are unsure of what to do with your career.
5. Choose the subject
Do not choose a subject because of a teacher as that may change.
